Aug.24: Handing down the traditional arts at Nara

Nara is well-known for the birthplace of many traditional arts such as gagaku, noh and Kyogen, but few people know those have been continuously handed down to younger generations by the collaboration of the authorities (temples and shrines) and the commoners.
